Meet Halley

Halley Sauer, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Speech Language Pathologist with a clinical background in geriatrics. Halley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and Italian from New York University and her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and is certified in the Compton PESL (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) instruction method through the Institute of Language and Phonology. With over six years experience in skilled nursing, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings, she is passionate about patient-centered care and individually tailored treatment models. After reconciling the insurance-driven barriers to quality patient outcomes, Halley pivoted to deliver one-on-one services for individuals committed to self improvement through better communication.

Halley developed Premier Accent Modification to empower non-native English speakers to improve their spoken American English while preserving their cultural authenticity. The goal is not to erase one’s cultural identity, but rather to enable clients to achieve their personal and professional goals through improved communication skills. It is a highly structured, results-driven, evidence-based training program for motivated individuals seeking to reduce their foreign accents.
